All Brentford supporters who have Season Tickets or who have purchased individual Match Tickets for any of our last five home games will have received an email from the Club yesterday, Friday 12 June. We have been working through the next steps for fans with Season Tickets and individual Match Tickets for the remaining home games. This followed confirmation from the EFL that the season will resume next Saturday 20 June, with all games to be played behind closed doors.
As announced last week, the EFL and Sky Sports have reached an agreement allowing clubs to exclusively deliver free live coverage of the nine remaining home and away fixtures to Season Ticket Holders via iFollow (the EFL’s digital streaming platform). Season Ticket Holders have been given the opportunity to claim an iFollow code in the email from the Club. Access codes will be sent in the coming days, along with details on how to use this streaming service – the only place to watch all nine remaining games with a Bees commentary.
Those Season Ticket Holders who take up the iFollow option and Junior Season Ticket Holders who take up an alternative offer of a Club Shop voucher will also be sent a Brentford FC face mask to show their colours while keeping safe out and about. They are also being invited to make their presence felt at Griffin Park even if they can’t be there. We will print Season Ticket Holder faces onto giant banners that will be placed at Griffin Park during our remaining home games. We know this is no substitute for you being at Griffin Park in person, but we want to ensure your familiar faces are present when the team recommence their push for the Premier League.
Alternatively, refunds will be made available to Season Ticket Holders who can’t or don’t want to make use of the iFollow access. This refund will be based pro rata on the price paid for a Season Ticket.
The email sent to Match Ticket holding fans outlined three options available to them – to donate the value of their tickets to the Club, to obtain a credit on their ticketing account for future match ticket purchases or Club Membership fees, or receive a full refund. As a thank you, supporters that donate the value of their Match Tickets will receive iFollow match access incentives or Club Shop vouchers for Juniors. Details are explained in the emails.
We would like to reiterate our gratitude to all supporters that have contacted us wanting to donate the value of their Match Tickets or Season Tickets to us. There is now an opportunity for all fans to do so. Togetherness is a particularly difficult value to hold on to when we cannot be physically together. Fans know that we have no way of raising income during this period and many have wanted to help. We know not everyone is fortunate enough to be in a position to donate their Match Ticket and Season Ticket value to the Club, therefore supporters have the options for a refund as outlined above.
If you have not received an email from us please, in the first instance, check any spam or junk folders. If you still do not have it, please fill in the online form via one of the links below and we will make further contact with you. If we do not have an email address for you, our Box Office Team will call early next week to make arrangements with you.
Please note, Season Ticket Holders who bought additional Match Tickets will receive two emails. Please also report, via the buttons above, if you are a Season Ticket Holder and have not received the emails you think you should have.
