Have your message read out at Griffin Park

Peter Gilham on the microphone on Friday

23 June 2020

It will not be a normal experience at Griffin Park on Friday but some of the usual matchday routines will be in place. One of those will be that Peter Gilham – the longest-serving matchday announcer in the country – will be at the game. There will be the usual matchday announcements of teams and goal scorers and he will also be able to read out your messages.

The Bees welcome West Bromwich Albion to Griffin Park on Friday in a match that will kick-off at 7.45pm. It will be broadcast live on Sky Sports and for Season Ticket Holders via iFollow. We hope fans will be able to hear Peter and have a little more Griffin Park coming in to their homes.

As part of this, we are collating messages for Peter to read out at this game. It is intended this will continue at our remaining home games. If you have a message, please send it to by 5pm on Thursday, 25 June. Please keep them short so we can read as many out as possible. Please note, we cannot guarantee reading out all messages but will try to read as many as possible.
