Keith Stroud to take charge at Griffin Park tomorrow

Match Officials confirmed for first game back on home soil

25 June 2020

Following Saturday's resumption win over Fulham, we return to Griffin Park for the first time since 7 March tomorrow night to face West Bromwich Albion. It's a meeting of fourth against first in the Sky Bet Championship and the match officials have now been confirmed.

Referee: Keith Stroud

Assistant Referees: Nigel Lugg and Ian Cooper

Fourth Official: Gavin Ward
It'll be consecutive home games under Keith Stroud after the experienced Hampshire official also took charge of our last outing at Griffin Park, a 5-0 win against Sheffield Wednesday 110 days ago.
Keith began his professional career back in 2004 and has been involved in FA Cup and Play-Off finals, as well as spending a number of seasons officiating in the Premier League.

In total, we have won 15 and drawn three of 26 games under the Hampshire official. Most notable among those were our 2-2 draw at Bramall Lane in April 2013, which saw four penalties and three red cards given, and a pair of home wins over Queens Park Rangers and Leeds United at the end of last season.

Starting with a 2-1 victory over Aston Villa on Boxing Day 2017, we've won our last six games under Stroud, keeping a clean sheet in the five most recent victories.

So far this season, Mr Stroud has shown 85 yellow cards, and three reds, in 27 competitive fixtures.

West Bromwich Albion 2019/20

465 fouls – 12th in Championship

65 yellow cards – 10th in Championship

2 red card – 8th in Championship
