The praise of Thomas Frank for Brentford FC Community Sports Trust has been heard around the world. During an interview with the AFP News Agency, Thomas discussed the work he and the Brentford FC players had done in the community over the past few months. There had been plenty of support for the Trust during the Covid-19 outbreak, including Thomas judging a journalism competition.

"I like the efforts the children have been putting into the competition," he said in the interview. The former Brondby boss realises how lucky he is to be managing such a club but said the limelight does not always fall on those who deserve it more. "We (managers) in the professional game are admired and in the sunshine because we are in the middle of everything," he said. "They (the Community Trust coaches coaching local youngsters) are doing much more for society and the world."
