Keith Stroud given weekend's assignment at Swansea City

Match Officials confirmed for Play-Off Semi-Final First Leg

24 July 2020

The Sky Bet Championship Play-Offs get underway on Sunday with Thomas Frank and the side making the trip down the M4 to Swansea City. The match officials for the game have now been confirmed.

Referee: Keith Stroud

Assistant Referees: Andrew Fox and Mark Russell

Fourth Official: David Webb

Keith Stroud began his professional career back in 2004 and has been involved in FA Cup and Play-Off finals, as well as spending a number of seasons officiating in the Premier League.

In total, we have won 16 and drawn three of 27 games under the Hampshire official. Most notable among those were our 2-2 draw at Bramall Lane in April 2013, which saw four penalties and three red cards given, and a pair of home wins over Queens Park Rangers and Leeds United at the end of last season. Recently, Stroud was in charge of back-to-back home wins against Sheffield Wednesday and West Bromwich Albion, either side of the restart.

Starting with a 2-1 victory over Aston Villa on Boxing Day 2017, we've won our last seven games under Stroud, keeping a clean sheet in the six most recent of those.

So far this season, Mr Stroud has shown 100 yellow cards, and three reds, in 31 competitive fixtures.

Swansea City 2019/20

490 fouls – 23rd in Championship

70 yellow cards – 17th in Championship

4 red card – 6th in Championship
