The Brentford FC Supporters Club of Norway have named Ollie Watkins as their Player of the Season for 2019/20. Ollie notched 25 goals as Brentford finished third in the Sky Bet Championship this season, their best finish since 1947. Ollie also contributed eight assists in all competitions to earn his award.

It is usual for our Norwegian supporters to visit at the end of every season to present their award in person. They were not able to do so this season due to the Covid-19 pandemic. They did, however, hold their annual poll, which was completed in April, and Ollie got 56 per cent of the votes

Ollie follows in the footsteps of Saïd Benrahma, who took the award last year. Daniel Bentley, Ryan Woods, Clayton Donaldson and Adam Forshaw have also won the Norwegian supporters’ prize in recent years. In three seasons with The Bees, Ollie has now scored 48 times in 140 appearances. No player has scored more than Ollie's 45 second tier goals for The Bees since promotion to the Championshop in 2014.
