There are now just three games remaining of the Sky Bet Championshop season and Brentford will enter the last week of the campaign on a seven-match winning run. The Bees made it six wins in a row since the resumption of football after the Covid-19 outbreak with a 3-1 win at Derby County yesterday. Those victories were added to a win over Sheffield Wednesday in March and it is Preston North End next for The Bees. That game will be played at Griffin Park on Wednesday, 15 July, and will kick-off at 5pm.

That game is the first of three in seven days that will decide Brentford's fate this term. Brentford's winning run means they sit third in the Sky Bet Championship table and have closed the gap on leaders Leeds United and West Brom, who are second. Both teams are three points ahead of The Bees, albeit Leeds have a game in hand, against Swansea City this afternoon. After Preston visit, Brentford head to Stoke City and then have Barnsley at home on the final day of the campaign next Wednesday, 22 July.

Wednesday's match will be behind closed doors, but will be live on Sky Sports. Season Ticket Holders will have received an email from the Club with a code to redeem to watch games on iFollow. Full details about that email and what to do if you have not received it can be seen here. It not be available to buy as a single match.

The Bees will be looking for a measure of revenge over Preston, after losing 2-0 at Deepdale in September. Brentford do, however, have a good record against North End at Griffin Park. The Bees have won five of the last six games between the teams in West London, last losing the fixture in September 2011. Preston are currently eighth in the table, two points behind Cardiff City in the last Play-Off place.
