Referee: Robert Jones

Assistant Referees: Graham Kane and Timothy Wood

Fourth Official: Dean Whitestone

This will be the Merseyside official's eighth game in charge of The Bees, having joined the ranks of EFL officials before the 2016/17 season.

Jones' first assignment in the second tier was our trip to Barnsley in April 2017. The game ended in a 1-1 draw; Florian Jozefzoon scoring the equaliser before Jota missed a second-half penalty. 12 months on, he took charge of our 1-0 win over Ipswich Town at Griffin Park, Neal Maupay scoring the only goal from the penalty spot following a foul on Sergi Canos.

His games last term were a pair of defeats; a 1-0 reverse at home to Bristol City in Thomas Frank's first game in charge and February's 2-1 defeat at Nottingham Forest. This campaign he was in charge of our home defeat to Huddersfield Town in early November, our loss on the road at Millwall over Christmas, and February's 1-1 draw at home to Leeds United.

So far this campaign, Jones has shown 108 yellow cards in 33 matches, including last week's League One Play-Off final.
