Brentford’s Sky Bet Championship game against Nottingham Forest has been rearranged. The Bees were due to welcome Forest to Griffin Park on Saturday 25 January but will now be in Emirates FA Cup Fourth Round action, against Leicester City, that weekend. The game against Forest will now be played on Tuesday 28 January and will kick-off at 7.45pm. Details of the Leicester game will follow when confirmed.

The game will be between the teams currently third and fourth in the Championship. Brentford are above Forest on goal difference, and both are nine points behind Leeds United and West Bromwich Albion at the top of the table. Forest have, however, played one game fewer and won the game between the teams at The City ground, with Ben Watson scoring the only goal of the contest in the second half.

This will be Forest’s final visit to Griffin Park and they last won in TW8 in August 2017. That is their only victory in five visits since The Bees were promoted to the second tier in 2014.

Tickets already purchased for the original date will be valid for the rearranged game.
