HEAD TO HEAD

THE OPPOSITION

Nottingham Forest head to Griffin Park tonight as the Sky Bet Championship's most in form side since Boxing Day. Sabri Lamouchi's men have won four and drawn two of their last six league matches to rekindle automatic promotion hopes which looked to be fading after a difficult December.

Only the top two have taken more away points than Forest this campaign, with their tally of 24 points on the road matching the amount they have earned on home soil. On top of that, only West Bromwich Albion and Thomas Frank's Bees can better their tally of 13 goals conceded away from home.

There's been plenty of late drama in Forest's recent outings. They've scored in the final ten minutes in four of their last six league matches, but also conceded a pair of damaging equalisers in games against Reading during that run.

Lamouchi's side have been reliant on the goals of former Bees striker Lewis Grabban (pictured above) this term. His tally of 16 is ten more than any other Forest player with Joe Lolley the only other player to have found the net more than three times during the campaign.

THE MANAGER

Sabri Lamouchi enjoyed a stellar playing career in his native France, Italy, and then Qatar, before retiring in 2009. Capped 12 times at international level, the midfielder was named in the initial 28-man squad for the 1998 World Cup, which Les Bleus would go on to win. He won the French League and Cup double with Auxerre in 1996, a further Ligue 1 title in 2000 with Monaco, and the Coppa Italia at Parma in 2002.

His first steps in management were taken with the Ivory Coast National Team. He won seven of his 14 matches in charge but resigned after The Elephants were knocked out in the group stages of the 2014 FIFA World Cup. He would then spend two-and-a-half years with El Jaish in Qatar, winning the 2016 Qatar Crown Prince Cup. Next up was a 13-month spell with Rennes which saw qualification for last season's Europa League before he arrived on the banks of the River Trent in June.

TEAM NEWS

We will be without Sergi Canos, Marcus Forss, and Nikos Karelis for tonight's encounter while Mathias Jensen and Pontus Jansson both missed our last league outing against Huddersfield Town.

Forest have a clean bill of health and may hand a debut to Adama Diakhaby at Griffin Park. Experienced midfielder Claudio Yacob departed on Monday to join Nacional in Uruguay.
