The young Bees, who are spending a week in the Algarve are over to play three fixtures, the first of which was an entertaining 3-3 draw with FC Seoul and their last will be against FC Astana on Saturday.

FC Ferreiras were founded in 1983 and play their matches at the Estadio da Nora which has capacity to host around 2,000 people. The side participate in the Campeonato Nacional de Seniores in Serie H and will provide a different sort of test for the team that was faced against FC Seoul.

The match is open to spectators free of charge and the club intend to provide live stream coverage of the fixture as well as the usual social media coverage.

Manager Neil MacFarlane has a strong group of players to choose from with goalkeeper Simon Andersson set to join up with the team for the game following international duty with Sweden.

Ahead of the match, the Brentford B Head Coach said: “The match with FC Seoul must give the boys so much confidence in terms of their work with and without the ball. I think we can still improve with the speed of the game, and coming up against men’s teams is exactly what we want and we’ll take that into Wednesday.”
