Mads Bech Sorensen played the full 90 minutes on Tuesday night as AFC Wimbledon took a point from Sky Bet League One clash with Burton Albion at Kingsmeadow.
Joe Powell and Mitchell Pinnock exchanged goals in the opening 16 minutes with Jamie Murray restoring the visitors’ advantage just before the interval. Wimbledon levelled for a second time on the hour through Callum Reilly and that was how it stayed. The point leaves AFC six above the League One drop zone ahead of tomorrow’s trip to Accrington Stanley.
The other action for our loan players this weekend sees Reece Cole and Partick Thistle host Ayr in the Scottish Championship tonight. Canice Carroll’s Carlisle United travel to Mansfield tomorrow with Canice having not been involved in Tuesday night’s 4-1 win over Forest Green Rovers in Sky Bet League Two.
