Inside Your Matchday Programme: Leicester City

Preview our Emirates FA Cup Fourth Round programme against Leicester City at Griffin Park

24 January 2020

Leicester City visit Griffin Park for the first time in 27 years and also the last time ever. Our programme this weekend is inspired by the 2018/19 season.

"Then I came across Justin Edinburgh. He brought that passion back out in me for football. And even though I only worked with him for about 7-8 months, it just brought me back into that zone where I loved it again."

Leon Legge talks about his career, from non-league to top-flight, with Dan Long in this week's player profile.

"Throughout my career, I was often found at the Etihad supporting the blues. I always found it refreshing to be supporting my team and shouting at the players instead of being on the receiving end."

Ben Burgess gives us The Last Word on players going to support their childhood teams in the stands with the fans.

"Shortly after he signed, me and Mum actually met him in our local hairdressers in Swindon. My mum had foils in her hair – what an introduction!"

My Brentford Story is told by Miranda Wayne-Barwell - following in her parents' footsteps to the terraces at Griffin Park.

Nick Bruzon addresses the big topics in Park Life: "it all kicked off at full time when Neal Maupay and Ezri Konsa became involved in what we should politely call a contretemps"

Dan Long brings us the Story So Far on The Foxes: "It seems surreal that Leicester City were in a similar position to Brentford in the Championship just six years ago."

Ben Strange interviews new signing Paris Maghoma for the first time on tour with Brentford B: "The opportunity and the pathway that you see, there are so many boys that have come here, people like Josh Dasilva who came from Arsenal and now he’s playing in the Championship and doing really well."
