For Luka it was a debut at Under-21 level, having earned 28 caps at younger age groups, while Japhet was earning his second cap at Under-21 level and 25th overall.

All three of Denmark's goals came in the opening half hour. Jesper Lindstrøm gave Denmark the lead after just six minutes with Carlo Holse making it 2-0 after 22 minutes. Jeppe Okkelse grabbed the third on the 30 minute mark to complete a fine first-half showing. There was to be no clean sheet for The Danes however, Dan Baumgartner scoring a late consolation for the home side.

There's more international action coming up for some of our young players on Wednesday. Simon Andersson and Sweden's Under-20s are currently in Cyprus for a week-long training camp with a game scheduled for Wednesday against a yet-to-be confirmed opponent while Patrik Gunnarsson could win his maiden full cap for Iceland when they take on Canada in Orange County, California.
