Brentford B have made their second signing of the January transfer window as Aaron Pressley has joined the club from Aston Villa's youth setup.
Aaron, 18, is a Scottish youth international and the forward will join up with Neil MacFarlane’s side and add to their attacking options.
The striker began his youth career in his native Scotland with Hearts but then moved on to join Aston Villa’s academy setup where he has gone on to feature for the club in the Under-18 Premier League.
He will now link up with Brentford B as they set their sights on fixtures with Chelsea Under-23s, as well as FC Liefering in Austria in early February.
Brentford B Head Coach Neil MacFarlane says he is delighted to have secured another attacking player as his side look to kick on for the rest of the campaign.
He explained: “I think first and foremost, having known the player for a number of years, we’ve got an unbelievable character. He’s somebody with a top desire to improve himself every day, which is what we want in the group, and he’s a player that will push our group relentlessly as well with the way he goes about his business.
“I think we’ve got a player with massive potential, his size that he brings at the top of the pitch in the number nine role gives us something we can really work on and we’re a team that like to link the game at that end of the pitch and bring other players into it.
“With the introduction this window of Paris (Maghoma) as well, we’ve got a couple of really good signings for the B Team that we hope can develop over the coming months and we can push them on. He’s physical, his size brings that, and if we can work at all the little intricacies of his game then I think we’ve got a really good player.”
