The young Bees go into the match off the back of a 4-2 defeat in Austria last weekend against FC Liefering, but will take on a PC39 Academy side coordinated by former Tottenham Hotspur defender, Pascal Chimbonda.

Pascal has had an excellent playing career spanning across France and England. He began with Le Havre B in his native country before progressing onto the first team where he spent four years prior to joining fellow French side Bastia in 2003. A couple of years later, Pascal would move to England to link up with Wigan Athletic, and after some impressive performances, he joined Tottenham and played well over 50 times for the club.

Spells with Sunderland, Blackburn and Queens Park Rangers would follow before he moved down the leagues to turn out for the likes of Doncaster Rovers, Carlisle United and Ashton Town.

PC39 Academy is an under-23 academy setup which is combined with full-time education. The academy is based in the heart of Manchester and is delivered by ex-professional footballers. Alongside training regularly, the players also complete a BTEC Sports and Exercise Science qualification.

The match acts as opportunity for the Brentford B squad to build on minutes and continue preparations for their Middlesex FA Senior Challenge Cup semi-final clash with Wealdstone on Tuesday evening.

Despite the match being behind closed doors, the club will be providing live match updates across its social media channels.
