Away Day Guide: Luton Town

Plan your trip to Kenilworth Road

23 February 2020

We'll be backed by a sell-out away end at Luton Town on Tuesday night as the Sky Bet Championship Play-Off race continues at pace. One of the 1,000 Bees heading to Kenilworth Road? Plan your trip below.

Kenilworth Road has been the home of Luton Town Football Club since 1905. The stadium is situated just outside the town centre in the Bury Park district of Luton.

By Road

Exit the M1 at Junction 11, proceed along A505 dual carriageway. After 1 mile, take 2nd exit at roundabout, then straight across 2 sets of traffic lights and down the hill. Follow signs to the Town Centre / Station.

Street parking near the ground is very limited. We recommend you park at or near the main train station (as below)

There are a number of other parking options in and around the Town Centre, see the map below for some other options. Links to Google maps are also posted below to help you find your way.

Other public car parks - in order of proximity

NB. Oak Road itself is closed to traffic on matchdays apart from licensed away supporter coaches.

By Train

The nearest station is Luton station (in Station Road, Luton LU1 2LT) on the Midland line, operated by ThamesLink.

From the station, the ground is a 15-20 minute walk. We recommend you take advantage of the free buses to / from the ground that the Police are offering (from 2015) for away fans.

Alternatively, from the Bus Interchange opposite the station, take the “Luton - Dunstable Busway” which stops outside the ground (close to Oak Road stadium entrances). Busway routes A,B,C or F70 to the Clifton Road stop.

(There are also local stations at Leagrave, and the Luton Airport Parkway with connecting bus routes)

At The Game

Once you are in the stadium, you'll find refreshment kiosks are located inside the ground offering a range of hot snacks and drinks.

Away Fans Bar
Luton has a licensed bar* in the ground for away fans which is situated to the left hand side as you look at the pitch from the Oak Road End. There you will be able to purchase alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, snack and confectionery.

Flags / banners
Flags and banners are permitted inside the stadium but please contact the club in advance for prior permission, as they will need to see the relevant safety certificates.

*Safety requirements mean a maximum of 60 people can be accommodated at any time,
