Darren England handed tomorrow's trip to Luton Town

Match Officials confirmed for visit to Kenilworth Road

24 February 2020

We make the short trip up the M1 on Tuesday night for our first visit to Luton Town since November 2008. There will be a sold out away end behind Thomas Frank's side and the match officials have been confirmed for the game.

Referee: Darren England

Assistant Referees: James Mainwaring and Rob Smith

Fourth Official: Adam Crysell

This is Darren's fifth season as an EFL referee having spent many years in the professional game as a linesman, including running the line for the 2015 FA Cup Final between Aston Villa and Arsenal.

We are unbeaten in England's four matches in charge, winning two and drawing two. Following our 3-0 victory over Bolton Wanderers, and the 3-3 draw with Sunderland during the 2017/18 season, last term's one outing under England was our 2-0 win at home to Wigan Athletic. This season, he was the man in charge of our 1-1 draw at home to Hull City in August.

So far this campaign, the Barnsley-born official has shown 66 yellow cards and one red in 25 matches.

Luton Town 2019/20

350 fouls - Fewest in Sky Bet Championship

46 yellow cards - 21st in Sky Bet Championship

0 red cards - Joint-fewest in Sky Bet Championship

Tickets for tomorrow night's trip to Kenilworth Road are SOLD OUT.
