It has become common in recent years for Brentford players to visit West Middlesex Hospital in the days before Christmas. First Team and B Team playes have visited with gifts for patients young and old that will spend the festive period in our local hospital. Time has also been spent with the staff that will work over the Christmas holidays to keep everyone well.
With hospitals restricted due to the Covid-19 outbreak, our players have not been able to visit this year. But they still wanted to do their bit. Messages were recorded and sent to staff and included in a video shown to hospital workers. See it below.
At the end of an extraordinary year, we would like to thank our amazing colleagues for their professionalism, commitment & time.— West Middlesex University Hospital (@WestMidHospital) December 16, 2020
