On Saturday we will welcome fans through the gates at the Brentford Community Stadium for the very first time. Blackburn Rovers are the visitors on this momentous occasion with Oliver Langford chosen as the man in charge. Find out more about Saturday's referee below.
Referee: Oliver Langford
Assistant Referees: Adrian Waters and Michael George
Fourth Official: Sunny Gill
On Saturday, Ollie Langford will take charge of us for the 20th time, as we host Blackburn Rovers at the Brentford Community Stadium.
Of the previous 19 games with the West Midlands official in charge, we have won five, drawn seven, and lost seven. Most memorable among those games were our 2-0 win away at Southampton in December 2010, the 4-1 victory at home to Reading in September 2016, our 5-1 opening day victory over Rotherham United in August 2018, and last December's 1-0 derby victory over Fulham.
Langford's most recent game was our 0-0 draw away at Huddersfield Town in January.
So far this term, Langford has shown 50 yellow cards and two reds, including one last night to Sheffield Wednesday full-back Liam Shaw, in 12 matches.
