On training away from Jersey Road ...

It is like a mini pre-season in the season. It is a change of scenery with nice facilities. They have an indoor artificial pitch which is warm and we can do different gym exercises in there. We can have meetings in there. It is just nice to have that change of scenery but also they can play a few games with each other and with a smile on their faces.

On bouncing back from Saturday ...

This season we have 24 hours at most where we can enjoy the win or be frustrated over dropped points then we need to move on. We have moved on, we have prepared well, and we are ready to give everything against Derby.

On Christian Norgaard ...

Christian is getting closer. He is not available for Wednesday. He has been around the group for the last two days. I am getting impatient and Christian is getting impatient. We want to involve him but we need to be clever as there are a lot of games that still need to be played this season.

On keeping the squad in shape ...

All players available for Blackburn and also available for Derby.

The players have been very good in terms of what they can control. We try our best to keep the players as fresh as possible. Players are different so some players we need to keep more fresh; some positions are more important as they sprint more. We try to do a bit of rotation without a rotating system or playing the same 11 every time. We try our best to try and do that and the team look fresh which is good.

On Derby County ...

We are facing a team that everyone, included themselves, expected to be higher in the table. They want to dominate on the ball and, on their day, they do it very well. We need to defend well again. When we are on the ball and, if we bring our A-game, I expect us to dominate on the ball. I am sure they will be fine at the end of the season because they have a good squad. I am not worried about them, but I am worried about what kind of performance they put in on Wednesday because they are a good team.

On Sergi Canos' goal ...

I don’t know what the biggest disappointment was on Saturday, that we didn’t get the three points or that I couldn’t sing his song for him. I have planned that when he scores, and we win, I will sing, and get the players to join in with me, because he deserves it with everything he has been through. Beside the goal, and it was a wonderful goal, it was the Sergi I remember on top of his game. There were so many positive actions taking the ball forward, committing players and making good decisions. His fitness level has improved so much and I was very impressed with his work rate too.

We are not on TV tonight, which means the only way to watch is through iFollow. For just £10 (£7 for international fans) you can keep up with all the action live from our new home.
