Referee: Robert Jones

Assistant Referees: Simon Beck and Simon Long

Fourth Official: Graham Scott

This will be the Merseyside official's ninth game in charge of The Bees, having joined the ranks of EFL officials before the 2016/17 season.

Jones' first assignment in the second tier was our trip to Barnsley in April 2017. The game ended in a 1-1 draw; Florian Jozefzoon scoring the equaliser before Jota missed a second-half penalty. 12 months on, he took charge of our 1-0 win over Ipswich Town at Griffin Park, Neal Maupay scoring the only goal from the penalty spot following a foul on Sergi Canos.

That victory over The Tractor Boys remains our only win in eight attempts under Jones. After losing four straight during the 18/19 and 19/20 season, Jones took charge of two huge games in 2020. He was the man in charge of our 1-1 draw at home to Leeds United in February and then oversaw our 2-1 final day defeat to Barnsley at Griffin Park.

So far this campaign, Jones has shown 10 yellow cards in five matches across three competitions.
