Starting in Poland, Joel Valencia’s Legia Warsaw, who are in fantastic form at the moment as they sit top of the Ekstraklasa, will take on Stal Mielec tonight, with the side unbeaten in 10 matches in all competitions. Joel played the first 68 minutes of the side’s win last time out and will be hoping for more minutes.

Halil Dervişoğlu will also be another player aiming for more minutes after he was a substitute last time out for FC Twente against AZ Alkmaar. This weekend they head to take on VVV Venlo who are 15th in the Eredivisie, and Halil and his teammates will aim to get back to winning ways.

Top of the table Viborg FF will look to increase their lead at the summit of the Danish First Division when they travel to Helsingør on the back of two successive 1-1 draws. They are top of the league on goal difference at the moment and Patrik Gunnarsson is getting a lot of game time with recent man of the match performances for the side.

Julian Jeanvier is still missing for Kasımpaşa S.K. due to injury. The side picked up a 5-0 win in the Turkish Cup recently and will travel to Yeni Malatyaspor in the league this weekend.

In England, Saïd Benrahma will be pushing to be in action for West Ham United when they travel to Chelsea on Monday evening after starting their last fixture against Crystal Palace- a 1-1 draw at the London Stadium. The winger got 88 minutes under David Moyes and will be aiming to impress when the side head to Stamford Bridge next.

Midweek action in Sky Bet League One saw Shrewsbury Town continue their good run when they picked up a 1-0 win over Lincoln City, but Jan Žambůrek wasn’t involved in the match. Their match with Sunderland has been postponed this weekend due to an outbreak of Covid-19 at the north east club. Elsewhere in the same division, Northampton Town were beaten 4-0 by Oxford United earlier in the week and they are without a win in their last three league games. They will look to bounce back this weekend when they host Lincoln City, and Luka Racic was absent from the matchday squad under Keith Curle on Tuesday night.

AFC Wimbledon picked up a 1-1 draw away at Sunderland in midweek and they were still without the injured Jaakko Oksanen, who is progressing well from injury and will look to make his return in the coming weeks. The Dons are at home to Crewe on Saturday.

There will be no game this week for Arthur Read’s Stevenage following an outbreak of Covid-19 at the club. The side had their midweek match in Sky Bet League Two with Tranmere Rovers postponed before this weekend’s match with Exeter City as well.
