The first Brentford match in front of fans at our new stadium is just hours away and attention has now shifted to the next game, a few days from now. Our game against Blackburn Rovers tomorrow, Saturday 5 December, kick-off 3pm, will be watched live by Bees fans at the stadium, subject to any last-minute changes from the authorities. As has been communicated over the course of the week, fans were placed in priority order and invited to book. All places at the game have now been taken.

We know that many thousands of fans are desperate to get in to the stadium to watch games as soon as possible. Currently Government regulations restrict us to just 2,000 supporters per match. But we do have another home game on Wednesday, 9 December, when we welcome Derby County to West London for a match that will kick-off at 7.45pm. The people next in the priority list for access will have received an invitation to book tickets for that match earlier today.

For the Derby match, email invitations to book will go to supporters who have frozen their Season Tickets or Dugout Season Tickets. Fans are reminded that anyone attending the game tomorrow will move to the bottom of the priority list until everyone eligible has had an opportunity to attend. We will be contacting our Premium Seat Holders separately to update them. If invitations to attend are not taken up, we will send out further emails at the start of next week as we aim to fill all available space under current regulations.

As a reminder, anyone who lives in an area with tier three Covid-19 restrictions will not be able to attend and fans that replied to our survey last week saying they do not want to attend at the moment have also been excluded. Supporters booking tickets won’t have to pay now. The pro-rata amount will be payable as part of the renewal process for next season’s Season Ticket (2021/22). Further details on how to access the stadium, what it will be like inside and any parking options available will be sent out soon to those attending.

Please check your email now to see if you can book tickets for our game against Derby. If you are a Season Ticket Holder for the 2020/21 season and have not received an email from the Club, please fill in our online form. If you have any queries, please email us at [email protected].

We fully appreciate this is a difficult and challenging process and some fans are going to be disappointed and frustrated they are not in the first tranche of attendees. Please be assured we understand and share these frustrations and will do everything in our power to make the process as smooth as possible.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
