We were delighted to welcome fans to our stadium for the first time at the weekend, and they weren't the only visitors. Our game against Blackburn Rovers on Saturday, 5 December, was the first in our new home to be played in front of supporters. There were 2,000 inside to watch a 2-2 draw that extended Brentford's unbeaten run to nine games.
EFL on Quest were also on site for the match. As well as the standard coverage they interviewed fans and got pictures from around the matchday. There was an interview with Jon Varney, Brentford FC Chief Executive, before the game and Ivan Toney, who scored Brentford's first goal, after. Some clips can be seen below and the full feature is available on the Quest catch-up service here.
Today these stands will have 2⃣0⃣0⃣0⃣ @BrentfordFC fans in them for the very first time for the visit of @Rovers 🙌
