The young Bees were last in action, prior to their short Christmas break from fixtures, on 19 December when they picked up a 4-1 win over Huddersfield Town B.

Neil MacFarlane’s side ended 2020 in fantastic fashion, winning all five of their remaining games of the calendar year and they will travel to the National League side aiming to make it six consecutive victories.

Previous weeks saw them put three past youth sides from Queens Park Rangers and Charlton Athletic whilst they also battled to a deserved 1-0 win over Arsenal Under-23s.

Brentford B actually came up against Maidenhead in early November at York Road where the sides played out a 1-1 draw. Danilo Orsi had put the hosts ahead in the second period before one of the Brentford Trialists found the net late on to draw level.

We intend to provide a live stream of Monday’s fixture for supporters to watch from home. This will be a free service available on the Brentford FC YouTube channel and will go live shortly before kick-off. There will also be live coverage across social media, with a full report and post-match interviews available following the game.

The young Bees were also scheduled to take on a Reading Under-23 side later in the week but that match will now no longer be going ahead.
