Brentford B in action twice this week

Young Bees set for tests against youth sides from QPR and Huddersfield Town

14 December 2020

Brentford B are in action twice this week with behind closed doors matches at Jersey Road against Queens Park Rangers Under-23 and Huddersfield Town B.

The side will welcome QPR on Thursday in a 12:30pm kick-off before they return to action against Huddersfield at 11am on Saturday morning.

The side are on a positive run of form at the moment having picked up three consecutive wins over under-23 sides from Watford, Arsenal and Charlton Athletic. In those three games the side have netted seven times and conceded just once.

First up, a West London derby with QPR and the young Bees will come up against a side who beat Swansea City’s youth side 3-1 last time out with the goals coming from Stephen Duke-McKenna, Hamzad Kargo and Nathan Carlyle. Prior to that, the side had a goalless draw with Colchester United before falling to a 4-2 home defeat to Hull City.

Brentford B will then entertain Huddersfield B ahead of the First Team fixture on Saturday morning with the young Bees set to come up against a side who will be looking to bounce back from a 3-2 defeat to Middlesbrough’s youth side. Ahead of that match the side impressed with a 3-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday.

Details regarding coverage of the fixtures will be announced in the days leading up to the games.
