The young Bees, who picked up an impressive 1-0 win over Arsenal Under-23s last time out, will make the trip for the behind closed doors fixture with kick-off at 1pm.

Neil MacFarlane’s side will be looking to make it three consecutive wins having beaten Watford U23s recently 3-1, and they will travel to a Charlton side who currently play in the Professional Development League and are fourth in the table.

The side are on the back of two consecutive wins themselves with a 3-0 win away from home at Swansea City. They followed that up by netting three times once again at home to Bristol City as they claimed a 3-1 win.

Discussing the match and the upcoming busy period for the young Bees with matches against QPR U23 and Huddersfield B coming up in the near future, Brentford B Head Coach Neil MacFarlane said: “We’ve got really good momentum at the moment. Performance levels have been really high, and results have been good as well which is really pleasing.

“In this particular period with the number of games both at B Team and First Team level, it’s important that all of the players are primed and ready to help us right through this period and make sure that we’re ready for the First Team.”
