Last hours of Farewell Griffin Park Auction

Time running out to own a piece of Brentford history

27 August 2020

Griffin Park has been our home since 1904. With the move to our new stadium fast approaching, we’re offering you the opportunity to own a piece of our history. Head over to our new auction site at auction.brentfordfc.com to browse the items available to purchase. But do so quickly, as the auction end times are fast approaching.

Our Farewell Griffin Park Auction includes signs, turnstiles, dugout seats, Hall of Fame boards, sections of the Ealing Road barriers and part of the wooden seats still in place in the corner of Braemar Road. There’s a whole range of other memorabilia including framed pictures that once hung on the walls of the Boardroom or Legends Lounge, so we have something for everyone and a whole range of different price points.

The Club has partnered with Hilco Global to oversee the smooth running of the auction process. The Hilco team has extensive experience of managing football-related sales, with a client list including West Ham United and Arsenal

Once you’ve registered, you can place a bid in much the same way as many other auction sites you may be familiar with; either enter your bid and then wait to see if you are outbid, or set up ‘automatic bidding’. If you go for automatic bidding, you can enter the maximum amount you want to pay for the item and the system automatically increases your bid if others outbid you – up to the maximum you are prepared to pay.

The auction lots from the stadium features will start to close from 9am today, Thursday 27 August, and those from the memorabilia items will start to close from 9am tomorrow, Friday 28 August. The Hilco team will then be in touch to organise the payment and collection of your items.
