More tickets for tours of Griffin Park to be available to Season Ticket Holders later today

Details sent by email to our Season Ticket Holders

13 August 2020

More tickets are being made available for fans to get a last chance to visit our beloved Griffin Park. We announced earlier this week that a short (socially distanced) tour had been arranged with an opportunity to take a few photos at designated points. Season Ticket Holders secured more than 1,200 tickets for these tours but more have now been made available.

In order to try and accommodate as many Season Ticket Holders as possible, we’ve made some slight amendments to the routes around Griffin Park. This will allow us to increase the number of fans that can attend each visit from eight to 15 (whilst still maintaining social distancing) and will enable us to offer more tickets. Each group will be accompanied by a member of staff who will point out some key points from the history of Griffin Park on the way round. The tour will follow a strict route around the stadium and fans will not be able to break away from the group, although we will endeavour to give fans the opportunity to take a photo somewhere near where they sat (or stood) along the way.

The tours are scheduled for next Wednesday to Saturday, 19, 20, 21, 22 August and then Monday 24 August and Tuesday 25 August. Tour slots will be every 15 minutes from 9.30am until 7pm on weekdays. They will run from 10am to 5pm on Saturday 22 August. We are still working to add more dates when fans can attend.

These tours are free of charge and have been offered to Season Ticket Holders from our Farewell Griffin Park season first, with fans able to book for a maximum of two people per booking. We are currently clarifying that only Season Ticket Holders have made bookings and that the link, sent in good faith, was not shared. Those attending should note that they need to be in a group with one Season Ticket Holder between every two attendees, no Season Ticket Holder can attend more than once and any group that does not include a valid 2019/20 Season Ticket Holder will not be allowed entry. Fans that do not meet these criteria and now wish to cancel their booking can do so via the link sent. Any Season Ticket Holders aged 16 or under will need to attend with someone aged 18 or over.

If tickets remain, the details will then be sent to Club Members. Given the level of demand, it’s unlikely that we will have further tickets available beyond this. We request that those that receive the link do not share it. This will ensure that Season Ticket Holders have the best opportunity to gain access. Please note, if you are using an email address across multiple Season Ticket accounts, you will only receive one email. Season Ticket Holders who have already booked a place on the event will not receive an email.

We will need to take the details of all participants on the tour (in line with government guidelines) and a medical questionnaire will need to be completed up to 48 hours prior to the tour. Other measures (such as the wearing of face masks* and the use of hand sanitiser) will also be required.

We hope this won't happen, but should any Government guidelines change, we may have to cancel the visits - we will try to give you as much notice as possible if we need to do that. Please note that the standard tours will involve steps. If you require a step-free tour, please contact us at enquiries@brentfordfc.com and we can organise this with you separately.

*If you have a medical exemption from wearing a face mask, please inform us in advance.
