Founded in 2003, Brentford’s new Principal Partner Utilita Energy is one of the nation's fastest-growing independent energy suppliers – currently powering more than 800,000 UK customers. Utilita Energy has established itself as a hugely recognisable brand in British football, having supplied power to a number of stadiums – including Ibrox, Selhurst Park and Villa Park – while partnering with more than 25 clubs as well as the EFL.

Utilita Energy, who first joined forces with The Bees in 2016 as Official Energy Supplier, have strengthened their relationship with the Club this summer and, as Principal Partner, will appear on the front of all Official Brentford shirts - including Brentford B and Brentford Women’s FC teams – for the 2020/21 campaign. As Brentford leave Griffin Park – the Club’s home of 116 years – Utilita Energy will play a central role, powering a new era at our new home less than a mile away from The Bees’ old ground.

The Bees will begin life at their new home in a traditional and synonymous Brentford red and white stripe kit, with the addition of a black pin stripe. A striped front and back body with solid red sleeves and shoulders complement a white rib V neckline with black collar insert. A full colour woven Brentford crest and the iconic stacked Umbro diamond sit above the logo of new Principal Partner, Utilita Energy. The kit is made complete with black shorts and socks with red detail.

Brentford’s 2020/21 Umbro away shirt features plain fabric sleeves to provide a contrast of textures on a marl fabric body. Primarily Carbon grey, red tipping at the shoulders helps complement the detail. Below a stylised ribbed neckline sits a contrast woven Brentford crest, the Umbro diamond and Utilita Energy logo. The Carbon grey shirt colour is matched by the shorts, with contrast provided by red socks.

Our 2020/21 Umbro goalkeeper shirt is a green set in sleeve jersey with crossover V neck, contrast upper panel and contrast tipping at shoulder seam. Like the home and away shirts, it includes the Brentford crest, the famous Umbro diamond and Utilita Energy logo. Shorts and socks are also available to purchase.

Central to the new Principal Partnership is Utilita Energy’s ‘High 5’ movement, which enables every household to use around £163 less energy each year by making five simple and free changes at home. Brentford Chief Executive, Jon Varney, said: “All of last season’s kits for our historic Farewell Griffin Park campaign were very well received and Umbro have once again delivered, designing bespoke kits that are fit for such an exciting period in the Club’s history.

“Utilita Energy has been a loyal member of our partnership family since 2016, so I am delighted that they have strengthened their ties with us to become our Official Principal Partner. Utilita are an ambitious and fast-growing company who share our values as an organisation.

“Our enhanced partnership with Utilita shows that Brentford are providing its sponsors with a platform to grow their organisations. Our increased fan base and new stadium along with the success we are enjoying on the pitch are all important factors in broadening our appeal to commercial partners. We are looking forward to developing our partnership with Utilita during the first season at our new home and are proud to introduce them as our Principal Partner.”

Jem Maidment, Chief Marketing Officer at Utilita Energy, added: “Playing a part in Brentford’s ‘new era’ as they take residency at their new stadium is really very exciting for Utilita – such a unique opportunity.  Having toured the new stadium, I can see there are many sustainability measures in place, both on and off the pitch, which will massively reduce the amount of energy the club uses.

“In the current climate, we are really grateful to have the chance to communicate Utilita’s Energy High 5 message to Brentford fans, which will help every household save around £163 a year on their energy costs – that’s the equivalent to a youth season ticket and the odd burger at half time!”

Our home, away and goalkeeper shirts are available to buy now. They cost £48 for adults and £38 for juniors. The home and away shirts are available in sizes cut for women and these also cost £48 from our online store. Full Infant home kits can be purchased for £38, while shorts and socks are available for all three kits. Personalisation of your shirt is available with the new EFL numbers, designed to recognize the partnership with mental health charity Mind.

Replica kits are making their way to the Club and away and goalkeeper orders will be dispatched from Friday 18 September just before our very first league game at the new stadium. Home kits will follow soon after. See the full range here.

We would like to apologise for the delay in releasing our new kits. This was caused by the short turnaround between last season and this, and not knowing which division we would be playing in during the upcoming campaign until the beginning of this month. This uncertainty delayed the appointment of a shirt sponsor. We are working hard to shorten the lead time on delivery of our new kit and will update supporters on anticipated delivery dates.

Please note: payment will be taken on ordering. First Team Squad numbers are subject to change until we announce them for the 2020/21 Season.
