A look at Paris Maghoma ahead of the new campaign

17 August 2020

Paris Maghoma joined Brentford B in January 2019 from Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur.

The promising young talent came through the ranks with Spurs and has featured for England at youth level.

Paris scored four times in seven Under-18 Premier League games during the 2018/19 season and also featured in the Under-18 Premier League Cup and the FA Youth Cup for the North London side. He also turned out for the senior team in a pre-season friendly against Girona back in 2018 under Mauricio Pochettino.

Paris made his Brentford B debut in Portugal shortly after joining as he helped the side to a 3-3 draw against FC Seoul. His first goal came later in that trip when the midfielder fired home in excellent fashion into the top corner past FC Astana from Kazakhstan.

Paris then featured for the side in an impressive quarter-final win in the Middlesex Senior Challenge Cup against Wingate & Finchley as the youngster proved a real asset to help the side to a 1-0 win with Gustav Mogensen getting the all-important goal.

The youngster would then feature prominently out in Cyprus as the young Bees picked up wins over Pafos FC and FC Rodina Moscow.

Prior to the early curtailment of the 2019/20 campaign, Paris had amassed 10 appearances for Neil MacFarlane’s side. The youngster will be looking to get a full season under his belt with Brentford B and aim to push as close as possible to the first team set up.
