The Brentford B central defender has been a key man over the course of the 2019/20 season often putting in determined displays and leading by example at the heart of the back line.

The Scottish youngster was at Hibs for almost a decade and worked his way into the Development Squad in 2017. Kane has also been involved with the Scottish youth setup in recent seasons.

A reliable acquisition for the young Bees, Kane featured 39 times for the side last season as he helped them to a number of impressive performances as the side toured in the likes of Spain, Portugal, Cyprus and Austria.

The youngster created a strong partnership with Japhet Sery Larsen last season, but with the Dane now back with his parent club FC Midtjylland, it will be interesting to see how the youngster develops a bond with new centre back Ben Hockenhull, as well as Aubrel Koutsimouka who will be pushing for minutes as well.
