The central midfielder has had a steady start to life with the young Bees and offers energy in the centre of the park as well as the ability to find the net in style.

Julien joined The Seagulls in August 2018 having coming through at French Ligue 1 Conforama side SCO Angers. He went on to make ten appearances in all competitions for The Seagull’s Under-18s in the season before he departed, nine of which came in the Under-18 Premier League as Brighton finished fifth.

The defensive midfielder has been progressing with Brentford B under Neil MacFarlane, and the Frenchman netted his first goal for the club in style as he curled home a free-kick from distance against Albacete Under-19s in what was a 4-0 win in Spain in November 2019.

Over the course of the 2019/20 campaign, Julien made 23 appearances, popping up with a another smart finish against FC Rodina Moscow. He also had one assist in his 1,250 minutes of B Team action prior to the early curtailment of the season.

With a new season upon him, the youngster will look to gain as many minutes as possible as he looks to kick on with his development.
