The 18-year-old Frenchman, who signed from US Quevilly-Rouen, went on to register 18 appearances for the club during the 2019/20 season. Aubrel managed to find the net on four occasions with two of those goals coming in the same match against Beijing Renhe back in January as the young Bees began 2020 in strong form.

Aubrel began the season with a trip to Carden Park as part of the training group, with his first appearance coming against Queens Park Rangers in what was a 4-1 win.

The youngster also netted against FFDTV Academy at Jersey Road back in October as he got on the end of a Jaakko Oksanen corner to half volley into the net as the young Bees put together an emphatic score line.

His last appearance for Brentford B came back in March prior to the lockdown when the side turned out an impressive performance with a 3-0 win over Russian side FC Rodina Moscow with goals from Christian Tue Jensen, Julien Carre and Jaden Brissett.

Aubrel totalled 906 Brentford B minutes during his debut campaign with the club, and having had a year working under Neil MacFarlane, the youngster will be keen to add to those minutes as he bids to continue his development with the club.
