Birthdays

Ashley Bayes (1972); 12 appearances, 0 goals

A product of the Griffin Park youth set-up, goalkeeper Bayes made his professional debut, aged 17, at home to Preston North End in March 1990, a game which ended 2-2. He failed to make an appearance the following season but did play six games in all competitions during the successful 91/92 campaign. Bayes’ final season at Griffin Park saw a further five outings, including one at White Hart Lane against Tottenham Hotspur in the League Cup, before he left for Torquay United in the summer of 1993.

Stuart Dallas (1991) 75 appearances, 10 goals

Plucked from the Northern Irish Premiership in the summer of 2012, Stuart had to bide his time at Griffin Park before getting his chance during our 2013-14 promotion-winning season. He started six of our final seven games on the way to promotion, scoring twice. The following season Dallas became a regular in our Sky Bet Championship side, featuring 38 times with six goals. Those strikes included a 93rd-minute winner against Derby and his Goal of the Season strike during our 4-1 demolition of Fulham at Craven Cottage. At the end of the season, Dallas left to join Leeds United where he is closing in on 200 appearances for The Whites.

Gustav Mogensen (2001); 0 appearances, 0 goals

A Danish youth international, Gustav joined Brentford B in January 2019 from AGF Aarhus. This term the tall striker has been the B Team’s leading marksman with 16 goals to his name.
