Brentford FC has released its Financial statements for the year ending 30 June 2019. These were approved by the Board in February and sent to Companies House at the end of March but there were delays in transit due to the Covid-19 outbreak. They have been published by Companies House today.

The accounts are released while unprecedented global events unfold. These events are having, and will continue to have, a significant impact on the whole football industry. Thus, while the Brentford FC group recorded a £20.0m profit in the year to 30 June 2019, Brentford’s current financial year and the outlook for the coming year should be viewed in the context of the Covid-19 environment. In addition, the figures reported include £13.7m of “book” profits relating to the transfer of land to the developer building our new stadium. The entire effect of the land transactions (both positive and negative) will be reflected in subsequent years.
