The victory was reward for the team's hard work and application following two single goal defeats to open the season. The margin could have been bigger with two attempts hitting the woodwork and a number of other clear-cut chances not taken. As it was the goals came from Kaitlyn Spencer-Dempsey, Chloe Webb, Rebekah Wiltshire (2) (pictured above), and Regan Graver to secure the points.

The Development Team put in a valient effort only to lose 2-0 to a QPR Development side who had scored 12 goals in each of their opening two matches. The Bees had chances of their own but were made to pay for not taking them as Emily Foss and Kristal Clarke were on target at Bedfont Sports.

Both teams are back in action this Sunday. The First Team host unbeaten Islington Borough at Bedfont Sports, kick-off 2.30pm, while the Development Team head to Kings House Sports Ground, Chiswick, to take on Sporting Duet, kick-off 1pm.

It’s not too late to get involved. Brentford Women's FC would encourage talented female footballers to give them a try at their Wednesday night training session in Southall.
