Brentford FC are marking World Suicide Prevention Day - today, Tuesday 10 September - by backing the Inside Out campaign run by the If U Care Share Foundation. The foundation - a registered charity - was set up by the family of Daniel O’Hare, who took his own life aged 19. It has three main aims: prevention, intervention and support of those bereaved by suicide.

The Inside Out campaign is designed to make it clear that it is OK not to feel OK. It aims to get more people than ever talking about suicide and all Bees fans can play their part. Mental Health support is also a key aim of the EFL, which - through a partnership with the charity Mind, is trying to raise awareness of mental health, improve the approach to mental health in sport and raise funds to deliver life changing national and local support.
