The programme offers talented young players the opportunity to receive high quality coaching– enhancing their skills in a player-centred environment.

What does the Girls Football Development Centre involve?

Participants have the opportunity to attend weekly training sessions at venues in Gunnersbury, Hampton and Uxbridge, delivered by FA and UEFA qualified coaching staff. Receiving a high-quality football education experience, enabling them to improve in a fun and player-centred environment, our football programme includes a structured development match programme against other professional club’s Community Sports Trust’s such as Stevenage, Fulham, Queens Park Rangers, Reading, Wycombe Wanderers and more.

What is the benefit of joining the Girls Football Development Centre?

Parents have highlighted the positive impact our FDC has had on their children.

Olwyn Young, whose daughter Tasana attends, said: “The sessions have helped Tasana a lot with her football, her confidence has grown on the ball and as an individual. She has enjoyed going to the sessions because she feels she is part of a team for herself and not a shadow for her brother and her love for football has grown as she gets to compete in the tournaments and represent Brentford FC. The Girls Development Centre has also allowed Tasana to meet girls that share the same interests as her and have made some good friends.”

Sam agrees. She said: “My daughter Calli had a fantastic time and loved playing in the matches. She is already looking forward to the next opportunity to play with the team again.”
