It is 18 months since ground was broken at Brentford Community Stadium. The Muttitt family put the first spade into the ground on the site on 19 March 2018. In that time the stadium has grown in front of our eyes and the countdown to the first game is well and truly on.

The video below shows how the site developed with the stands building one at a time. The West Stand, the main home end for Bees fans, can be seen at the front, with the South Stand, which will host our premium lounges, media facilities and the most seats, on the right. The North Stand is on the left with the East Stand on the far side.

In recent weeks seats have been installed and the pitch is being laid and that can be seen in the video. Fans can also see the growth of the development around the stadium - to create an area known as Brentford East with more than 900 new homes, a new purpose-built location for Brentford FC Community Sports Trust, and a public square with shops and cafes. The final season at our historic Griffin Park home is now underway at the first game at Brentford Community Stadium is around 11 months away.
