As young people across the country take some time off school for the October half term holiday, the EFL Trust has reminded fans about their partnership with Network Rail and the British Transport Police (BTP) to help tackle the increasing number of people risking their lives on the railway. Brentford FC is part of the project that will help to educate and raise awareness of the dangers of the railway network to young people. The ‘You vs. Train’ campaign launched last year by the rail industry and British Transport Police saw incidents involving children reduce by 12 per cent, but this vulnerable group continue to be at high risk.
Two new films highlighting the hidden dangers of the railway has been launched across social media. They showcase the work being done by EFL clubs in this area. Brentford FC Community Sports Trust is working to help young people stay safe. The videos can be seen below.
