Watch: My Brentford Story – Chris Kamara

Midfielder turned Sky Sports pundit speaks to brentfordfc.com for #BlackHistoryMonth2019

29 October 2019

On 31 October 1981, Chris Kamara – now best known for his punditry on Sky Sports – wore the red and white stripes for the first time when Brentford took on Burnley at Griffin Park.

In doing so, he became the first black player to represent The Bees in the Football League.

We sat down with Chris at German Gymnasium restaurant and bar, King’s Cross, to reflect on his time in TW8 and his career after football.

Featuring Marcus Bean, Karleigh Osborne and Marcus Gayle, click here to watch the rest of our #BlackHistoryMonth2019 series.
