There were some special visitors to the Brentford Community Stadium development last week. The Brentford First Team squad and back room staff were given a tour of our new home and got to see how the building work is coming along. For some of the staff it was a second visit but for most it was the first time they have been inside the new ground.
Brentford will be moving stadium at the end of the season. The 17,250-seat stadium is close to completion with all the steel and concrete work finished and the pitch laid. The final cladding and internal fit-out is now underway. The players got to see the pitch and the dressing rooms as well as where fans will sit and cheer them on. Pictures can be seen above and there will be video coverage of the visit later in the week.
