Having progressed to the third round of the Middlesex FA Senior Cup on Saturday with a penalty shootout win over Hanwell Town, Neil MacFarlane’s side will go into the friendly with confidence having also beaten Reading Under-23s at Griffin Park last week.

Ahead of the match, the Brentford B Head Coach said: “I’m really pleased with the group in recent weeks and months. We’re going through a really good spell, we’ve got lots of things to improve on as always, but there’s a number of pleasing aspects.”

As for the away side, they come into the match top of the Vanarama National League after an excellent start to the season with 35 points from their first 18 matches.

Last time out they romped to a 5-0 victory over FC Halifax Town at home, as they now sit a point above Yeovil Town who occupy second.

Bromley are managed by Neil Smith who played for the likes of Gillingham, Fulham, Reading and Stevenage before he moved into management. His first managerial role came at Woking on an interim basis before he took a job at Welling United before moving on to Bromley as an assistant in 2011 where he worked his way up to taking the managerial role in 2016.

A reminder that the match at Jersey Road is open to supporters and they can gain entry to the training ground from 12pm ahead of the 1pm kick-off.
