At home to Group D rivals Switzerland, it took 84 minutes for the Danes to strike, Tottenham Hotspur’s Christian Eriksen setting Yussef Poulsen clear to slot home in Copenhagen. The victory moved Denmark level with the Republic of Ireland at the top of Group D with just two games remaining. Switzerland remain third, four points behind the pair but with a game in hand.

Henrik now has 23 caps to his name for Denmark and will equal the Club record for most caps won while a Brentford player (20) should he feature against Luxembourg in a friendly on Tuesday night.
