Brentford pair Jaakko Oksanen and Marcus Forss have been called up for Finland Under-21sā€™ European Championship qualifying double-header with Malta and Denmark in the coming days.

Both fixtures take place on home soil, with the Eagle-Owls hosting Malta at the Veritas Stadion, Turku, on Thursday 10 October, before Denmark visit Porin Stadion, Pori, on Monday 14 October. Finland sit top of qualifying Group F at present, having beaten Ukraine 2-0 and drawn 1-1 with Northern Ireland. Jaakko earned his fifth cap in the latter of those two fixtures, but Marcus was not involved in either matchday squad.

The pair have experienced international football from a young age: Marcus - who is spending the 2019/20 season on-loan at AFC Wimbledon ā€“ has scored ten goals in 19 appearances from Under-17 to Under-21, while Jaakko has been capped at every level from Under-16 and remains a regular for the Under-21s despite not turning 19 until November.
