Having received a bye through to the second-round stage, the side will be aiming to once again go all the way in the competition having lifted the trophy last season at Griffin Park.
The Bees go into the match at The Powerday Stadium after two wins following the international break as they turned out a positive display against FFDTV Academy in an 8-1 win before they pulled off a 3-1 win over Reading Under-23s at Griffin Park on Wednesday evening.
With first teamers Dru Yearwood, Jan Zamburek, Dom Thompson and Patrik Gunnarsson all involved for Brentford B on Wednesday evening, head coach Neil MacFarlane could well make changes to the side that started the win over Reading.
Speaking about the match, the Brentford B Head Coach said: ““It’s going to be another tough game for the B Team group, we’ve had a cup tie already at Beckenham as well (in the London Senior Cup), in which we came out on top, and hopefully we can do the same again on Saturday. For the supporters it’s another opportunity to come and watch us on Saturday and hopefully we’ll get another win.”
If you’re looking to attend the match at The Powerday Stadium then you will be able to head down to cheer on the team with tickets available on the day of the match, priced at £8 for adults and £4 for Concessions.
With the first team not in action until Monday, it’s a great opportunity to head down and support the young Bees as they aim to progress in the competition.
