Neil Macfarlane’s side headed north on Sunday for a double-header of games. They began with an  impressive 3-1 win against Aberdeen Reserves; Gustav Mogensen netting twice and Christian Tue Jensen also scoring.

Mads Bech Sorensen also got his first minutes of the season as he made his return from a knee injury to play 45 minutes at Balmoral Stadium, and he could feature once again against Hibs.

Other first teamers, Dru Yearwood and Jan Zamburek, have also been in training with the B team in recent days. Both could feature at Easter Road alongside a young group who have impressed in recent matches, with their 6-0 win at Beckenham Town followed up by victory over The Dons.

In the build-up to the game, Brentford B head coach Neil Macfarlane said: “It’s another tough match and we have to approach it properly and start the match right on the front foot with high energy.

“It’s going be a tough match, but hopefully we can get a positive win.”
