Julian Jeanvier to begin Africa Cup of Nations qualifying with Guinea

Defender heading away with Syli Nationale later this month

5 November 2019

Julian Jeanvier will be heading off with Guinea later this month as the West Africans begin their qualifying campaign for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.

Didier Six's side begin with a short trip inland to face neighbours Mali in Bamako on Thursday 14 November, kick-off 7pm, before welcoming Namibia to the Stade du 28 Septembre in Conakry on Sunday 17 November, kick-off 4pm.

Guinea made the Last 16 of this summer's edition of the Africa Cup of Nations but suffered defeat to Comoros and Chile in a pair of friendlies last month. Julian earned his third cap during that defeat to the South Americans in Spain.

Julian has started all but one of our Sky Bet Championship fixtures this season as he closes in on 50 appearances for The Bees.
